We use non-toxic phthalate-free fragrances​

people ask if we use 100% essential oils. We do not use 100% essential oils (although our fragrances do have essential oils in them) because the price point of our candles would have to be MUCH higher and it is sometimes difficult to make a candle that has a strong throw with only essential oils. We love essential oils, but for use in a diffuser-- when essential oils are heated, they lose much of their health value and some are flammable.

Using fragrances that are phthalate-free and free from Prop-65 chemicals ensures that our candles are cleaner and healthier than other candles on the market at a price point everyone can afford!

We use wicks that are lead-free and zinc-free

Although laws prohibit the production of leaded wicks, there are some loopholes that dollar store and other inexpensive candles take advantage of. If you purchase candles from a dollar store, they may still have lead in their wicks!!​​
